Linda commented a while back that it bothered her that the archive menu only went backwards. The reason for that was that I didn’t want to have to re-edit every previous page to update the archive menu every time I added a new month. I finally decided to crack open my PHP programming skills and decided it was time to update the whole look and feel of Knowlesville. It has been 5 years since I did the original design and in Internet time, that was eons ago. For those that care, the new design uses PHP as the programming language to automate quite a bit of the page. It uses CSS to style the page, so future redesigns should be a lot easier. But the biggest improvement is that making updates to the page is now a lot easier, so I will have less of an excuse for not updating it.
I’ll be moving the old pages over to this new format, which might take me a few more days, but be patient, eventually they’ll all be back.
5/24/2019: The Internet continues to move on, and now the archives are imported into the WordPress blog I started in 2008.
