This little bike literally changed my life. In 1979 I was going to San Jose State and one day after waiting for the bus in the rain for an hour, I decided I needed my own transportation. With such innocent intentions, my passion for motorcycles began. I put about 20K on this bike before buying my second bike. In 1985 I gave the KZ400 to my brother for Christmas. I got it back after he bought a Seca 650 and then it went to my friend John so he could learn to ride. After he bought a Sabre, the little KZ400 became mine for the third and final time. It now sits in my garage awaiting the day when I have time to restore it. Probably by then it’ll be worth something. Check out that sissy bar!
