Mention that you’re from Humboldt County and you have a weed problem and people are bound to think of something other than this. This is just one of my weed piles and they’re piling up faster than they’re decomposing. I’m running our of room to put them. This summer I finally had to resort to using a burn pile. I know, global warming is bad and all, but I’m sure those horse tails are scrubbing some of that carbon from the atmosphere. This pile is just what we’ve pulled in the last month or so. Seeing this pile, you’d think our yard would be devoid of weeds at this point and boy would you be wrong.
