Frog Hideout
While combing the yard for slugs and snails, I came across this little guy. The canna leaves are favorite hiding spots for both slugs and frogs, but it’s a lot nicer when I discover a frog hiding than another slug. Since the canna leaves uncurl from a center spike, the slugs have a habit of hiding in the center and chewing the spike, so that when the leaves unfurl they resemble the snowflakes you made out of paper in kindegarten, only not as pretty.
