End of the Line
I have no idea when this bus was manufactured, but it probably left the factory looking forward to transporting thousands of kids to school and back home. Throw in a few field trips for variety, and then maybe a happy retirement. However, this bus had its retirement postponed as it was converted to a hippy haven called the “Joy Bus”. Even when it finally made it to a junk yard, its diginity wasn’t spared as it ended up being used for an extrication seminar for several local fire departments. Maybe now, it can finally rest in peace. More demolition can be seen on the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department web site.
