Today as part of my EMT class, I got to watch this Honda Civic be turned into a one of a kind, truly unique, custom convertible. In case you want one just like it, here are the steps to follow. Take one Honda Civic that has already been in at least two front end collisions. (The repaired front fender was already smashed again before we started.) Then smash out all of the glass, as it just gets in the way of that “wind in your face” feeling. Next rip off all four doors, for easier access. Then cut the 6 roof posts and peel back the roof. You might want to save it, just in case you run into inclement weather and you want it back. To increase front leg room, the dashboard can be pushed up and away from the seat. For this you might need to call your local fire department, as your local tool rental shop isn’t likely to have a jaws of life. But everything else can be accomplished with a sawzall if you don’t have access to a jaws of life.
