Jumping Jack
Some holidays are more stressfull then others, but I always thought that Halloween was one that rated towards the lower end of the scale. Unless you are a Jack O’Lantern. Coming across Fernbridge, I saw one Jack O’Lantern that even with Halloween nearly two weeks away, he was so stressed out that he was comptemplating throwing himself off of the bridge. I’m not sure what would cause a pumpkin to want to commit suicide, but suicide intervention for large (or even small) vegetables is outside the training I have as a fireman. So I simply snapped the picture, and drove on, hoping that he comes to his senses. It would be such a shame to see him end his life so early, when he could look forward to being squashed by a roving gang of teenagers later this month.
