After working hard in the studio all month, I was looking forward to a shoot on the Lost Coast with Haley. Originally planned for Tuesday, we postponed it to Friday because fog, which had been a problem all week. While the rest of California is sweltering, we’ve had our usual summertime weather, meaning its been very foggy. So Friday afternoon I was excited to see that the fog burned off. On the drive over to the coast, our luck continued, and it was still sunny when we pulled up to the parking area. When I opened the car door though, I got a nasty surprise, it was super windy. We tried shooting anyways, but I didn’t get anything really good. I should have learned by now that when it’s that windy, it’s better to just turn around and go home.
