Just in time for the rainy season the house and barn are getting new gutters. The house never had any when we bought it and it looks nicer having them on, and I’m sure it will help preserve the siding and foundation. When we were digging the post holes for the deer fence I managed to hit the drain pipe for the french drain the previous owners installed. It was supposed to drain into the ditch on the north side of the home, but it had silted up completely so it wasn’t helping the drainage problem at all.
