Also on the 19th, the FVFD had a fire drill, using a barn out at Chief Leonardo’s place that fell during a storm last winter. The pile of wood was much larger than expected and after burning for several hours it hadn’t dimished much by the time we left at 10pm. I expect it burned most of the night. Thankfully Rich watched it overnight and we got to go home. That’s the difference between a drill and the real thing.
