First Sunday in December means it’s time to put the lights up on the town Christmas tree. This year we were blessed with pretty good weather for the task. No rain, and the temperature wasn’t too bad either for an early morning in December. The tree presented some problems getting the lights around some branches, and there’s a big section missing on one side, but we got the job done. Later at night it looked wonderful when it was lit, and then of course we enjoyed the hot cocoa and cookies the town provides after the lighting. Always a great way to kick off the holiday season here in Ferndale.
