Fortunately the rest of the week went by without any more animals intruding into our house, although Galen also bagged a gopher in the yard this week. Sometimes they earn their keep. Today’s picture is a group of mushrooms I found while traveling Forest Service Road 1. On a clear day there is one spot where you can see out to the ocean to the west, and looking east, you can see Mount Shasta. Unfortunately I can’t verify this yet, since I’ve only been up there on cloudy days.
