I know, I’ve been a bit behind in my updates lately. Yesterday I paid a return visit to cousin Eleanor’s house in Bridgeville to scan some of her family photos. Today’s picture is of our great-grandfather John Knowles, and his family. Wife, Frances Marion Smith Knowles, and their three children, from oldest to youngest, Florence Eliza (Eleanor’s mother), James Warren (our grandfather), and Muriel Eleanor (Aunt Muriel to us kids). I am absolutely tickled to have a photo that links our family to the Victorian period.

Update: Turns out Charles M. Knowles was not a relative.
