Here’s the view of Loleta from Tompkins Hill Road close to the peak of the flooding. Unbelievably it got worse than this, but I couldn’t get out of Ferndale to get the picture. Mom and Grandma, this is the road that I took you guys on, but you probably don’t recognize the view. The area from where the waves are breaking to the beginning of the foothills is about 5 miles, and that entire area was under water.
