Finishing the race where everybody expected them to, this Subaru came in last. Actually the good bet was that they would be towed out of the bay by the Coast Guard. I was surprised to see that they made it. Pedaled by four guys, the vehicle’s power actually ran through the stock transmission, drive shaft, and differential. Apparently when they ran the one section along 101, many drivers failed to realize that this Subaru was people powered. So that’s it for this year’s Kinetic Sculpture Race.
