Fernbridge Sunset
After people saw my Fernbridge Sunrise photo, I kept getting requests for a matching sunset photo. The usual summer fog on the coast isn’t conducive to pretty sunsets, but during our fair stint I saw one really nice sunset developing and just as I was about to leave to go take pictures, the fire whistle went off for a traffic accident on the Wildcat which ended up being a nothing call. Driving down the Wildcat on the way back I got to watch the pretty sunset, knowing there was no way I was going to get back in time. The last few days we had potentialy nice sunsets, but at the last minute the fog would always roll in. Today the fog barely stayed out long enough that I was able to get this interesting shot of the sun breaking through the clouds. The water in the Eel is so low this time of year that you can walk out to the middle of the river with nothing but rubber boots and not get your feet wet.
