This is later in the trip we took Sunday, and the reason why I probably won’t be going back up there until spring. There is already snow up there, and since most of the roads are dirt, they are turning to mush from the snow and rain we’ve received already. The last time I took Lori out for a drive up there was in May and there was still snow then, so it ends up being a pretty short season. No snowmen were built this trip however. It’s raining again today, and it’s pretty cold here in Ferndale so it might be snowing up there where the elevation is above 4000 feet. Lori went to the doctor today and found out the pain was probably just a pulled muscle. Too much yard work I guess.
