Ferndale proudly proclaims it is a cow town. It is also a town with a sense of humor that bubbles up all over. For the next several days, I’ll give you a tour of some of the oddities you can find driving around Ferndale. We’ll start off with fiberglass cows. Recently a truckload of fiberglass cows was brought in to Ferndale, and they were snapped up by the locals to be displayed in yards, and in front of at least two lodging facilities. They are so realistic, they have even prompted calls to the local police department about cows on the loose.
