Artie came out with me to the front yard to check out the damage left from the flood. He didn’t like walking in the mud, which made it pretty hard to get around the front yard. This weekend I’ll start seeing what I can recover. The paths are going to be the worst, they’re under about 3 inches of silt and since they’re gravel, it’s going to be hard to separate the gravel from the mud. Right now it’s hard to tell what plants just died from it being winter and what plants we’ve really lost. I guess we’ll find out in spring.
