Instead of being in town for Udders Day, I was at the fairgrounds helping out with the installation of new barn doors. This is the building that we store the fire department’s vintage fire engine in, and on previous workdays we replaced the other three sides, and also gave it a new roof. They wanted to enlarge the doors so the engine could be stored on the trailer that is used to haul it to musters.
