All Done
Here’s the gallery, all done. Yeah!
I could have taken pictures this weekend, but I didn’t. With the pressure of the grand opening over, I did something all weekend that I hadn’t done in a long time, ride my motorcycles. The best part was that John and Carol came up for the weekend so all the toys got exercised.
On Saturday, the KLX300 continued its perfect record, dismounting every rider who has tried it. (some sooner than others)
Sunday we took the KLR650 and the Sprint out to Red Bluff and back. Perfect weather, company, and riding. Sure beat working. Honest I did think about bringing the camera, but I felt like running the bike without the luggage for a change.
In all the excitement of the grand opening, I failed to mention the other big news in Knowlesville. Lori has a signed contract for her book. Or actually, I should say “books” because they want her to do one book for women, and then a second one that will cover children and men. (Some would say that is a very logical grouping.) I probably should have had a camera ready when I handed her the envelope, but I’m still not in the habit of bringing the camera home from work everyday. Needless to say, she was jumping for joy, and I had to finish reading the letter because she was crying. Maybe when the first check comes, I’ll take a picture of Lori spending some of her money.
