The rain continued today so it was a perfect day to finish up the crown molding project in the music room. Previously I put up the middle section, and today I put up the top and bottom sections. Everything went up pretty good and I was pretty happy with my miters. Having the compound miter saw made that part easy, and I got to try out a new tool, an air powered brad nailer which made the project go a lot faster. One of the best $19 I ever spent (great sale at Harbor Freight). Really makes you feel like Norm Abrams too. Just a quick one handed ‘toof’ for each nail, rather than bang, bang, bang, etc.
