Still on the iPod theme, today was spent at home working down the items on my honey-do list. One was to get some music in our parlor. Since it’s looking very nice in there now, we didn’t want to ruin it with all the stereo and TV equipment. But we still wanted to be able to listen to music in there. iPod to the rescue! I dug up our 1981 vintage amplifier and a couple of small speakers and hid them in the antique radio cabinet we have. A modern iPod, playing through a 25 year old amp, sitting inside a 75 year old cabinet. Now I just need to find some recording of some old radio shows and the illusion will be complete.
