Mama Mia
A few months ago we were visiting John Stewart’s house and Lori fell in love with this cat. This was shortly after we lost Galen, so the attraction was obvious. Lori jokingly mentioned that if they ever wanted to get rid of Mama cat, that she would love to have her. Well the Stewarts are moving and they couldn’t take Mama with her, so we agreed to take her in. Thursday she came over and immediately made her presence known to our other three cats. So much so, that I started seeing huge vet bills in our future. So even though she was very friendly to us, we decided it would be best if she went back to her home at the inn. Ricky, who is pretty mellow wandered the house for a couple of days afterwards in heightend alert mode, sure that the enemy was still lurking inside. Meg got a taste of what her treatment of Trevor felt like, but I don’t think that will make her accept Trevor any better. And Trevor? I was worried we just might not see him again, getting attacked by Meg was one thing, but Mama was just plain psycho. Fortunately, he came around after her exit and he’s pretty much back to his normal calm self.
