After taking breaks for our vacation, and then being stuck at the fair for two weekends, I finally had a chance to finish the brick walkway in our front yard. Now that it is done we can do the final grading in the front yard, so I’m waiting for another load of manure to help fill the low spots. Fortunately around here, you don’t have to pay for manure, as it is in plentiful supply. The walkway is now about 8 inches higher than it was before, so hopefully it will stay clear during the next flood.
