At least the front porch that is. Work started today on the demolition of our front porch. Last year after I was digging it out of the mud I noticed a bunch of dry rot in the newel posts, and since I wanted to restore the porch back to the original layout, I figured we might as well do that in conjunction with the other front yard work we’re doing. As you can see, not much progress has been made in the front. It has simply remained too wet to do any more work.
