The tag on this girdle says TREO Style 544, Size 26, Retail $18.50. The back of the tag states it was Made in USA, and the fabric is listed as nylon and elastic yarn. It originally had 7 bones (2 in back, 5 in front), but one seems to have gone missing. The front panel has a nude net overlaid with black lace.
There is a black and nude satin ribbon bow in the middle at top, and the front and side garters have black and nude ribbon bows. The two back garters are unadorned. The back closes with 7 hooks, and it has a double layer of power net that forms a diamond.
While this girdle is a great match for the 1960 Black Lace Bra, the fact that it doesn’t use spandex means it is more likely from the 1950s. Much earlier ads for TREO boast their girdles don’t use boning, so it’s surprising to see they went back to using it in this girdle.
