The average vole only lives 3-6 months, and with Artie around, that can be reduced significantly. He’s been a hunting terror lately so we decided we’d keep track for the month. So far, this was the second kill of the month. We’ll let you know the grand total at the end of the month.

2019 Note: After becoming interested in identifying the animals that we see in our yard, I have determined that this is a baby gopher, not a vole.
