This picture really should have been on last month’s page, but I’m so far behind I decided to just use it to start this month. We had another in a series of big wind storms hit the coast, and in addition to removing a few more shingles from our roof, large waves were promised. In the 20-30ft range they said. So when it cleared up in the morning in between fronts, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to go check out the waves. Knowing how dangerous it can be at the beach under those conditions, I decided to head out to my favorite view point, the bluff above Guthrie Creek. Two years ago several of you received a print of a sunset taken from that bluff. Well now that print is even more of a limited edition because the whole bluff recently fell into the Pacific Ocean. I guess I’ll have to find a new favorite spot.
