Red Hot Pokers
One thing we haven’t seen much of in our garden since our move to Ferndale is our red hot pokers. Usually the slugs chew them off before they bloom. But this year I cleared away some of the other plants that were around them and then applied doses of Sluggo as needed. So even with the sweet william incident, we are having some successes this year. The iris are also doing much better this year due to slug control.
