Today I started a rush project for HALO which is an electronics company that’s been a client back from the Dataphile days. They make magnetics such as transformers and isolators. Usually what they send me is packaged like the familiar integrated circuit, and they are pretty tough to photograph due to their small size. But this box of parts included a couple of components that go into their parts. They are putting together a new brochure and wanted a picture of the actual magnetic core. When I saw it I thought they had to be kidding. The core is about 1/8″ in diameter. It wasn’t until I reviewed the picture, that I noticed that the wires were all different colors! This photo really proved the capability of the new camera.
