Kinman Pond 2007
When it snows in the local hills, this is one of my favorite places to go take pictures, Kinman Pond. Named for Seth Kinman, who was famous for making chairs out of antlers, the pond is located up in the hills above Ferndale. Lori and I got up early and drove up there Wednesday morning and were rewarded with a fresh new layer of undisturbed snow. The sun managed to sneak out between the fog and clouds for a few minutes at a time and when it did I worked furiously to get some good images. This was one of my favorites, and I’ll be featuring a few more the rest of the week.
