The annual Ferndale Dance Academy recital this year is Ella, the classic story of Cinderella, set in the Roaring ’20s. Today I shot the first of two dress rehearsals. The show starts Thursday, and Laura has sold out 3 shows at the Ferndale Rep. Every year this show gets bigger and better. I think next year she’s going to need onstage pyrotechnics to meet growing expectations.
