Today was our annual Firemen’s Games in Ferndale, the day when all new members get dunked. Two of the probationary members were sure they weren’t going to get dunked. They tried resisting and one of them ended up breaking a big plate glass window on Main Street. Fortunately for him, he was wearing his PPE (personal protection equipment) and he wasn’t hurt. It did however provide the highlight for the day.
