And More Paint
The right bay window is nearing completion and the scaffolding came away. Next on the list is reparing the panels under the windows. The trim that is still green isn’t original. I’m guessing that after the earthquake the trim on both bay window fronts was replaced. The sides of the bays still have the original trim and I’m trying to find a stock molding that is closer to the original. I was planning to pick up some stock from San Francisco Victoriana during our last trip south but that went by the wayside when the trip was shortened due to Meg’s unplanned trip to the vet. By the way, Meg’s doing just fine. She was trying out her last remaining fang on my toes this morning, and as a backup she’s always got those claws. Ouch.
Note: This was the last entry in my original blog that has now been ported over to the current WordPress blog. With Lori’s deteriorating health it became harder and harder to keep current on the blog. The WordPress blog started in April of 2009, announcing the success of her cochlear implants.
Using the dates of photos, I’m reconstructing some of what happened between September of 2008, and late April of 2009.
