Thursday was a very busy day for me schedule wise. As mentioned before, I started the day with my ambulance ride along. Then I had a photoshoot at the Gingerbread Mansion, which I had to break into two sessions in order to attend a planning commission meeting in Eureka concerning the variance we need for our garage addition. The photo session and meeting both went better than the ambulance ride along did. We got some great photos to use for publicity both for the inn and for our studio, and no one showed up to complain about our plans so we got the variance. So finally a year after we started the process, we got permission to proceed with the actual building. Hopefully the building department won’t provide as many hurdles as the planning department did.
