1930 Blue Velvet Dress and Jacket

Modeled by Mabel and Stephanie in the Aesthetic Design & Photography studio.

We bought this sexy 1930s blue velvet gown at the Vintage Fashion Expo in San Francisco. During the first session we photographed this dress we had Mabel try it on both ways because there was some disagreement on which was the front and back of the dress. The cut of the dress hung a bit weird either way, which was surprising given that it was on the bias. Even though he was probably wrong, Matt preferred having the deep v-neckline in the front, for obvious reasons. Either way it's pretty sexy, and the matching jacket makes a great ensemble.
