1997 Kawasaki KLX300

With our move to the country in November 2000, I realized a long time dream, owning a dirt bike. I finally have the room to store one, and I have several nearby areas where I can use it. While I was at the local Kawasaki dealer buying the new KLR650 and the Lakota, they had this used KLX300 on the floor and it looked pretty interesting. Since it has been converted to be street legal, it makes a good companion to the KLR650 for dual purpose motorcycling, and it pairs nicely with the Lakota for fun in the mud. The KLX300 and his big brother, the KLR650.
