1986 Suzuki GS550es

After racing the first season with the Vision, I decided to buy this GS550es just for racing. Shortly after buying the bike I went to work part time for the dealership. I never took home a paycheck, even though I sold quite a few bikes. Seems I always had this credit at the parts counter to deal with.

Here I'm doing my best to look like an alien who just landed. The house in the background is just outside of Livermore and on the way up the backside of Mt. Hamilton. Although the GS550ES still wasn't state of the art, it was cheaper than the competition and it matched my helmet and leathers perfectly. I still think it is one of the best paint jobs I've seen on a bike. It looks racy without going too over the top.
