Thu, Jan. 11, 2001 - Lori's adjusted to being out of work

So here's the historic first photo on Knowlesville. Lori and I recently moved from San Jose to Ferndale. Lori's taking time off from working to write her patternmaking books. And apparently, petting the cats.

We picked up our new truck today, which is replacing our 16 year old Blazer S10. It'll be nice having a truck that doesn't overheat all the time.

Since we live on Rose Ave, it seemed only appropriate to plant roses in the front yard. We planted a combination of Cecile Bruner and Gertrude Jekyl bushes. We also planted 3 apple trees and 3 blueberry bushes.

Lori finished working on this 1910 lawn dress costume. Apparently women didn't have heads or necks back then.
